Lovely pair of blown pale green glass flip glass - the earliest cocktail shaker! Rum, ale, spices such as ginger and nutmeg, and molasses were combined in one glass, a hot poker was inserted to melt the molasses, and the result was poured back and forth between the glasses to mix. These have lovely matched engravings of masted ships and a scallop design at the rim.
