Nicolas Cochin was a French draughtsman and engraver who specialized in topography. These engraving are in wonderful condition, with some light foxing and a bit of discoloration at the bottom center of one piece. They depict the village of Clermont en Barrois and the Kreuznach Palatinate (a part of Germany that was once under the rule of the Holy Roman Empire). Matted in vintage hand painted French mats.
