Beautiful 19th century shadowbox with a very busy scene—figures walking on a bridge in the foreground, a grand country house in the background, farm hands harvesting wheat or hay on the right hand side, and the strangely obligatory mother of pearl shell in the left hand corner. Just darling. Dated 1844 and signed “M.C”
