Watercolor dated 1840 by Edward Woodville Ricketts (1808-1895) from his collection of pictures that he drew during his travels as a young man after his studies at Oriel College, Oxford. As he was a keen yachtsmen, most of his artwork depicts ships and seaports. Framed in an antique lemon gold frame.
