Very sweet vue d’optique engraving of the Place de Louis XV in its original frame. Hand colored. Late 18th or early 19th century. Vue d’optiques were reverse typed and viewed through mirrored zograscopes to give the illusion of depth. Some loss to frame. Some foxing.
